The wealth governance crisis in Indian families

Every year, families lose crores because critical financial information walks out the door with one person. We're here to change that.

😰

Lost Assets

Bank accounts, insurance policies, and shares worth ₹78,000+ Cr go unclaimed because families didn't know the accounts existed. IEPF, RBI UDGAM, and IRDAI portals try to help — but most families don't even know where to look.

⚖️

Succession Nightmares

Over 66% of estate disputes in Indian courts are between family members. Without a clear plan, nominees fight legal heirs, siblings contest wills, and courts take 15+ years to resolve it.

📂

Scattered Records

Demat accounts with one broker, mutual funds with another, insurance with three companies, property papers in a bank locker, and gold in a safe. No one person has the full picture.

Frequently Asked Questions

What is Lineage Money?
Lineage Money is India's first family wealth governance platform. It helps families track all their assets in one place, plan succession, store vital documents securely, and connect with qualified financial advisors — so no wealth is ever lost or forgotten.
How much unclaimed money is there in India?
Over ₹78,000 crore lies unclaimed across banks (RBI UDGAM), insurance companies (IRDAI), mutual funds (AMFI), shares (IEPF), and post offices. Most of this money belongs to families who lost track of accounts after a relative passed away or simply forgot about old investments. Read our complete guide →
Is Lineage Money free?
We offer a generous free tier for individual families. Premium plans with advanced features — multi-family governance, advisor connections, encrypted document vault — are priced to be accessible. Join the waitlist and we'll share pricing before launch.
How is my data protected?
Every document is encrypted with AES-256 at rest and in transit. Each family gets an isolated data store. We use Cloudflare's global edge network for security, and we never sell or share your data. Your master encryption key stays with you.

When does Lineage Money launch?
We're launching in March 2026. Join the waitlist now to get early access, and we'll keep you updated on our progress. Early members get priority access and special pricing.
What's the difference between a nominee and a legal heir?
A nominee is a custodian — they receive assets on your behalf but may have to distribute them to legal heirs. A legal heir is determined by succession law (Hindu Succession Act, Indian Succession Act, etc.) and has the actual right to inherit. This confusion causes thousands of family disputes every year.
