Accessibility statement

It has to work for the whole family.

A platform that carries a family across generations needs to work for everyone in it — including older parents, members with low vision, and members using assistive technology. We are building toward WCAG 2.1 Level AA across the platform.

What works today

Seven things you can rely on.

These are in place across the platform now, not aspirations. If any of them fails for you somewhere, that is a bug and we want to hear about it.

  • Keyboard navigation across all major flows — sign-up, dashboard, imports and calculators.
  • Visible focus states throughout, and no focus traps.
  • Semantic HTML — headings, landmarks, lists and tables — so screen readers can navigate.
  • Form fields with associated labels and inline error messages.
  • Colour contrast targets of at least 4.5:1 for normal text and 3:1 for large text and UI components.
  • Text resizing to 200% without horizontal scrolling on the dashboard.
  • No flashing or strobing content anywhere.

Known gaps

The parts that are not there yet.

An accessibility statement that claims everything already works is worth nothing to the person relying on it. These are the gaps we know about, stated so you can plan around them.

If you find one that is not listed, please tell us — it goes on this page.

Open accessibility gaps
Where What is missing
Dashboard charts Some legacy charts still need an accessible data-table fallback. Tracked, and planned for the next release.
Listing filters Filter changes on listing pages are not yet announced via an ARIA live region.
Return wizard No fully audited screen-reader pass yet on the tax return wizard during the filing window.

Report an issue

Tell us, and it gets fixed.

Email contact@lineage.money with a subject line starting [Accessibility]. Include the page address, a short description of what happened, and the assistive technology and browser you were using.

If you would rather not email, the grievance route is open too and carries a 24-hour acknowledgement.

If something is blocking you right now, say so in the subject line and we will treat it as urgent rather than queue it behind planned work. Where we cannot fix it immediately, we will tell you what the workaround is.

Held properly, for everyone.

The same principle runs through how the data itself is handled.
