Lineage/Legal/Cookies
Version 1.0 · Effective April 2026
Three cookies, and none of them watch you.
Cookies are small files a site places in your browser. We use a small number — only what the platform needs to work and to remember your preferences. Every one is listed below.
Strictly necessary
Required, and cannot be turned off.
These three keep you signed in, protect state-changing requests from cross-site forgery, and remember the choice you made in the cookie banner so you are not asked repeatedly.
Turning them off is not offered, because the platform cannot function without them.
| Cookie | Purpose | Duration |
|---|---|---|
| lineage_session | Authenticated session token. Without this, you cannot stay signed in. | 7 days |
| lineage_csrf | Cross-site request forgery protection on state-changing requests. | Session |
| consent:cookies:v1 | Stores your cookie-banner choices so we do not ask again. | 12 months |
Preference and analytics
Optional, and currently empty.
Preference cookies remember things like language, currency and dashboard layout. You can turn them off; the platform still works, you will just see defaults instead of your saved choices.
Analytics cookies: we currently ship without any. No third-party analytics provider runs on the platform today.
There is no third-party analytics cookie on the platform, and no analytics vendor in the path of your browsing.
Any provider would load only after you accept analytics in the cookie banner — never before.
The provider’s name is added to the table on this page at least 14 days before it goes live.
Controlling cookies
You can change your banner choices at any time from the cookie settings link in the platform. You can also clear or block cookies in your browser settings — blocking the strictly necessary ones will sign you out and prevent sign-in.
Similar technologies
Where we use local storage or session storage, it is for the same narrow purposes listed above — keeping you signed in and remembering a preference. We do not use tracking pixels, advertising identifiers or cross-site fingerprinting.
