What we are

A record-keeper, and a Data Fiduciary.

Lineage is a technology platform that reads documents you supply, reconciles the figures in them, maintains a structured picture of what your household owns and owes, and runs structural checks against that picture.

In relation to your personal data we act as a Data Fiduciary under the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023, with the obligations that carries. The controls we operate.

Accuracy and its limits

We are deliberate about saying when we are not sure — that is why proven figures are kept apart from estimates and conflicts are flagged rather than averaged away. But documents can be wrong, sources can disagree, and rules change. The platform is a tool for seeing your position clearly, not a guarantee of it.

Professionals engaged through the platform

Where you engage an accountant, adviser or other professional, that engagement is between you and them. They set their own fees and are responsible for their own work and their own regulatory obligations. We verify the credentials we say we verify; we do not supervise the advice given. Lineage is not a party to the engagement.

No commission, no product bias

We earn nothing from any fund, policy or loan a user might buy. Nothing the platform shows is steering anyone toward a product we are paid on, because there is no such product.

Third-party links and data

The site links to government registries, regulators and other external resources. We check them, but we do not control them and are not responsible for their content or availability.
